I have taught English as a foreign language (EFL) in Southeast Asia at the university level since 2008, focusing on English for specific purposes (Nursing, Nutrition, Law, and Business), English for academic purposes (e.g., IELTS preparation), and English conversation.
I am also a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, Canada, specializing in immigration law (work permits and permanent residence). My teaching philosophy is student-centred communicative language teaching and learning with a Socratic approach to ensure comprehension and critical thinking for achieving your task-based goals.
